Mothers Day Mini Family Portraits :: LAST CHANCE!

We have had entire families scheduled to all come in together, just the kids getting a portrait for mom and mom's and dad's with new babies getting a quick family portrait of the three of them. This can be whatever you want it to be!

Class of '09 Seniors.... ITS TIME!

It's that time for all you '09 seniors to start planning your ever important senior photos. We are, for the first time, scheduling senior portrait sessions for this spring and summer. Super Cool Bridal Show Alert

I don't normally get behind bridal shows - there's something a bit odd about them. Anyways, there is a bridal show this Sunday the 16th at the Royal Oak Music Theatre - how cool is that! The ROMT is one of the coolest & hippest venues we have in Michigan and the idea of having a bridal show there is awesome. We are not exhibiting in the show but we do have a few friends who are, so head on out on Sunday and maybe you'll meet up with some great new vendors!

I just realized that Valentines Day will be on a Saturday next year. So, if your into Valentines Day - or just into the idea of having a totally kick ass red + pink wedding - this is one sweet date. I can tell you right now that this is going to be one of those hot dates. Very few lucky people will actually be able to get married on 2.14.09, so if this sounds cool to you - PLAN NOW!

- I re-started weight watchers a couple days ago... ugh. If anyone has any killer food ideas, recipes ect for me PLEASE let me know - i'm a vegetarian btw.

Attention People Who Havn't Hired Us Yet, But Want To:

We book up fast. It's not bragging, it's just true. I get so many emails and phone calls from people who delayed in getting in touch with us and are now bummed that we aren't available for their date anymore. Some people even try bribing us! Our prime dates (May through November) book up about a year to a year and a half in advance. While we do sometimes have a few Saturdays in those months that take longer to book, most dates go fast and go early.

If you are getting married in 2009, NOW is the time to start looking for a photographer. The earlier you book things the more options you have. The folks that wait too long end up choosing only from the vendors that are available, not the vendors they want.

On February 18, our pricing and packaging will be changing and going up. So, 2009 folks, call us now and you'll not only have awesome photos but you'll save some cash!

All meetings scheduled with us before the 18th will be presented with our current pricing. So if you can't make it in to meet with us before the 18th, all you have to do is schedule your meeting. It's simple. Get what you want - not just whats available.

ATTENTION Senior Class of 09!

We need seniors! We are looking for fun and outgoing seniors (guys or girls) from Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Berkley, West Bloomfield, Royal Oak or Ferndale High Schools. We will be branching out into the world of Senior Portraits and need a few awesome volunteers for free sessions. If anyone out there knows a good candidate PLEASE send this on to them.

ATTN PAST WEDDING CLIENTS!

Remember that email I sent you about winter album discounts? Well, this is the last week for your 20% discount! Get your album order in to us by Thursday and you get your sweet discount. When you place your order this week, only half of the album total will be due. The second half is not due until you approve your final design - in about a month. So you get to spread the cost over time. If your album is ordered in February, you'll receive 15% off and if ordered in March, 10% off.

thing 1: Can you even beleive that Heath Ledger died!? I can't. I liked him. He was pretty. "10 Things I Hate About You" is one of the best teen romance movies I have ever seen. So sad.

Important Announcements

1: On February 18, 2008 our wedding packages will be undergoing a revamp. Pricing will be going up. In 2009, we will be accepting fewer weddings than past years to better serve our wedding clients and to build our portrait business. If you are interested in possibly using our services at our current lower prices, please get in touch with us to schedule a meeting before that date. All inquiries after the 18th will be given new packages and pricing. Specific info on these changes will be announced later.

2: We have decided to extend our winter boudoir sale until the end of March. Any session scheduled from now until April will receive $50.00 off ($350.00 total) - (this does not include buddy sessions). Current mod4 wedding clients will receive an $125.00 off ($275.00 total).


3: Our lab is having a sale on Fine Art Canvas Gallery Wraps and Art Standouts - these are the fabulous wall hangings you see in our office - and we are passing the savings on to you! From now until February 29 all orders for these products will receive a nice discount of 25% off! When ordering from your online gallery, use promo code WALL25%DISC.


4: Because I love hanging out with pooches so much, we will be offering our studio dog portraits at a lower rate for a while. Our session fee for pooch portraits will now be $150.00. It's always a great time for some pooch portraits - make my day and call to schedule your session now!

Holiday Time Off & Availability

Its almost Christmas. If you didn't already know that, your in BIG trouble! Anyways, we love the Holidays and will be taking some much needed time off to enjoy the season, our friends and family. We will be in sparatically this week and next week and not accepting any new appointments (unless your in from out of town - just let us know). If you already have something scheduled with us, no worries, your still good!

So, in the next couple of weeks, please allow us some extra time to return your emails and phone calls!
